He was born in 1931 in Donje Štiplje village near Jagodina town. He began paint in 1970.When he moves to Belgrade, capital of Serbia, he was starting to paint more intensively.
 

However, his best works were made in atelier in the suburb of Jagodina.  His paintings are vertically oriented, full off details making a complex poet impression. He impress the ideal of village life with every day scenes trying to keep it forever. Almost in all of his art works is a church, as a symbol of faith, wedding and grief for the dead.
 

He died in 2018 in Belgrade.
